Job summary

Shake Shack in New Jersey is seeking an experienced shift supervisor to oversee service flow, direct the hourly team, and ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on each shift.

You will help build and lead a high-performing team of Team Members and may assist with purchasing, receiving, and inventory. Interviews and employee relations support are part of the role, offering growth and development within a fast-growing hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
