Shake Shack is seeking a shift supervisor to help manage service flow, lead a hungry, high-performing team, and support operations such as purchasing and inventory. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on each shift.

You will participate in interviews and assist with employee relations, drawing on at least a year of leadership experience in a restaurant setting and a valid Food Safety Certification. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
