Job summary

Shake Shack in New Jersey is seeking an on-site shift supervisor to oversee service flow, safety, cleanliness, and quality while leading a high-performing team of hourly Staff Members. You will participate in interviews and help with employee relations.

Starting hourly rate is $20.00–$24.00, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We offer growth opportunities in a fast-growing hospitality brand committed to doing the right thing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
