Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a restaurant leadership professional to help manage service flow, supervise a team of hourly Team Members, and support operational duties on a shift basis.

As part of the ShackFam, you will help recruit via interviews, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and contribute to a positive guest experience across our New Jersey operations. Starting hourly rate is $20.00–$24.00, with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year restaurant leadership experience.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• Assist with operational support functions (Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.).
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
