Job summary

KF, a KFC restaurant in Alabama, seeks a Shift Lead to energize the team and uphold our standards. Lead shifts, coach Team Members, handle guest concerns, and drive daily results with guidance from the RGM.

Position requires reliability, strong communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will manage cash handling, inventory, and labor while promoting KF’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory and labor policies
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills
• Physical dexterity required (ability to move up to 50 lbs)
• Attendance and punctuality are a must
• Operating cash register and making change as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with energy to meet KFC standards and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach and guide Team Members to complete shift tasks and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide feedback to RGM on performance and assist with candidate screening.
• Support loss prevention, cash control, inventory and labor management.
• Oversee food preparation, rotation, cooking and holding times to ensure quality.
