Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is seeking a part-time Shift Lead to join our Garland, TX team. The role emphasizes delivering prompt, courteous customer service, assisting with purchases and fuel transactions, and ensuring store readiness to meet sales goals.

You will support the Store Manager, lead team efforts, and adapt to daily store operations while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. This position offers growth potential with rapid advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old; 19+ in Indiana; 21+ in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
• Perform job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees.
