Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc. is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead at our Arlington, TX location. You’ll deliver friendly, efficient service, help customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and support store operations.

A strong focus on safety and cleanliness will be essential as you help lead the team to meet daily goals. Responsibilities include operating the register, resolving customer questions, and ensuring product availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (21+ in certain states) depending on location.
• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Minimum 3 months cashier experience required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand, bend, and reach repeatedly; able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate the cash register and ensure merchandise is available.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Lead the team to exceed store performance goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned and backup duties in absence of management.
