Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads to provide prompt, courteous customer service, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and operate the register. You will help maintain a clean, safe store and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

Role emphasizes leading the team to meet and exceed performance goals while promoting a positive, inclusive store environment. Flexible hours and a focus on customer satisfaction are key.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky, 21 in Alabama and several other states).
• High school diploma / GED or 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months cashier experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel/merchandise availability.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations and team leadership.
• Lead the team to exceed store performance goals and objectives.
