Job summary

Taco Bell in Lindenhurst, NY is seeking a Shift Lead to drive the team, lead shifts with energy, resolve customer concerns, and ensure guests leave satisfied. You will coach and guide your team, partner with the management team, and help shape the restaurant's future.

You will execute the MIC routine, supervise Shift Excellence tasks, ensure food safety and quality, handle customer complaints, provide feedback to the GM, participate in training, assist with hiring and labor, and help maintain

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity to move up to 45 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality required.
• Operates cash register and makes change as needed.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on team performance.
• Actively train Team Members and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control, inventory, and labor practices.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and health & safety standards.
