Job summary

Hudson Restaurant Group seeks a Shift Lead for Zaxby’s to help manage daily operations and develop leadership skills. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across all restaurant areas and opportunities for growth within the organization.

You’ll support guest service, uphold quality standards and participate in training initiatives. The position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred.
• Willingness to work hands-on in all areas of the restaurant.
• Ability to communicate clearly, delegate responsibilities and support team members.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, guest service and operational standards.
• Dependable, energetic and committed to teamwork.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Complete Zaxby’s training and certifications.
• Interested in developing leadership skills and advancing within the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Help lead restaurant shifts and support day-to-day operations.
• Assign positions, delegate responsibilities and keep the team focused.
• Work hands-on across front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, cleanliness and speed.
• Open/close the restaurant and office per procedures.
• Handle cash and complete shift reconciliations.
• Conduct walk-throughs and address operational needs.
• Support new procedures, promotions and improvements.
• Communicate staffing and equipment concerns to leadership.
• Coach and support team members while setting a positive example.
