Job summary

Flynn Group, operator of the Planet Fitness brand, seeks a Shift Lead to supervise staff, ensure safety, and drive a high-energy Judgement Free Zone. The role emphasizes team leadership, service excellence, and compliant operations within a busy fitness club in Beattystown, NJ.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will organize schedules, train staff, handle member issues, and uphold standards for cleanliness and security while supporting sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence when interacting with customers, coworkers, and the public.

• Ability to identify issues, analyze information, and plan effective actions.

Responsibilities

• Organize shift schedules for team members.
• Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off.
• Assign duties to employees based on role and skills.
• Supervise employees and assist with tasks as needed.
• Provide feedback to management and team members on performance.
• Train new and existing staff on procedures.
• Handle customer issues and manage conflicts.
• Adhere to company policies and health, safety and employment standards.
• Protect member documents and sensitive information with integrity and security.
• Maintain club cleanliness and upkeep to keep facilities like new.
• Process retail transactions accurately and drive sales in line with PCI policies.
