Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a capable Team Member to open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will handle returns, refunds, and price adjustments while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory, merchandising, and adherence to store policies. Fluency in English and basic store systems knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• Must obtain/maintain PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• We will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Complete returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers as requested.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with inventory accuracy, price changes, and proper signage.
• Maintain clean, orderly store appearance and assists with displays and merchandising.
• Support pharmacy out window and comply with state/local regulations for regulated products.
• Communicate tasks to team when management is not present and relay disciplinary issues to management.
