Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to support store operations and guest experience in Aberdeen Hills, MD. You will open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and inventory, and assist with pricing, displays, and backroom tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will greet customers, resolve issues, and model service best practices to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience while promoting compliance and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change for registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Communicate tasks to team members when management is not present; report issues to management.
• Assist with inventory counts, pricing changes, and basic displays and resets.
