Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. in New York seeks a Shift Lead to drive on-site hospitality, lead a small team, and ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. You will craft coffee and matcha to high standards, train new team members on recipes and procedures, and uphold safety and service that keeps regulars coming back.

This hands-on, fast-paced role offers growth into store leadership while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer service leadership role in hospitality or beverage.
• 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Full-time availability: 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days, and 2 peak days.
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify) upon offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-floor operations and model exceptional hospitality.
• Support the GM and train new employees on recipes and processes.
• Open and close the store, ensuring checklists are followed.
• Handle customer issues and drive store profitability.
• Lead initiatives to increase foot traffic, new customers, and sales.
