Job summary

City Brew Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to help supervise daily store operations and coach team members in a fast-paced café environment. You will model exceptional service, ensure product quality, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and reliable attendance, with responsibilities including opening/closing the store, cash handling, and driving sales while upholding our SERVE standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food/beverage or retail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive, and passionate about coffee and service.
• Willingness to learn and grow, receptive to feedback.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a positive, customer-first attitude.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and food items promptly.
• Keep the café clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback.
• Lead through example to foster a positive team environment.
• Oversee cash handling, bank deposits, and reconciliation procedures.
• Open and close the store following company procedures.
