Job summary

7 Brew is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead the on-shift crew, and ensure high standards of service and energy. This role requires mastery of Brewista duties, guiding the team through peak hours and maintaining product quality.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and a passion for customer care, while safely handling equipment and ingredients in a fast-paced coffee stand environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to create uplifting interactions with customers.
• Ability to work quickly with hot water, dairy products and glass bottles.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Climb ladders and use a stepladder safely.
• Stock and clean the stand while maintaining safety.
• Move safely around drive-thru traffic and use a utility knife.
• Train and supervise crew; address issues calmly and clearly.
• Adapt to problems and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Must be proficient in all Brewista duties and skill sets.
• Lead and direct flow for each day and shift to meet demands.
• Master recipes, secret menu, and daily procedures; answer questions.
• Identify and correct flow bottlenecks while on shift.
• Always do more than expected for the team and guests.
• Prioritize company and team needs; avoid favoritism.
• Complete and teach weekly chores, checklists, and shift duties.
• Deploy crew to positions that challenge them and minimize wait times.
• Maintain productivity through gracious delegation and reminders.
• Own shift energy: drink quality, customer interaction, music, etc.
• Track cash tips and cash drawers; report developments to management.
• Assist in training and development of the crew.
• Proficient in TouchPoint and with hardware.
