Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with the team to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management when necessary and assists with vendor deliveries.
• Registers sales and records scanning errors, price verifications, and price changes.
• Assists in review of order exceptions, returns, and reverse logistics.
• Assists in developing displays and completes resets and revisions.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts across departments and stockroom.
• Ensures pricing tasks and signage comply with local regulations.
• Assists with bookkeeping, cash reports, and ledgers as requested.
• Maintains store appearance and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Separates food items by policy and restocks using FIFO method.
• Knowledge of store systems and equipment; assists at Pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products; bag checks when leaving the store.
• Follows policies and maintains respectful relations with coworkers; completes special assignments as assigned.
