Job summary

Walgreens in the community is seeking a storefront associate dedicated to delivering a superior customer experience. You will participate in opening and closing the store, handle cash and daily transactions, and ensure shelves and backroom areas are well organized and compliant.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, solving issues promptly, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting pricing and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain state-required PTCB certification or pharmacy license.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management and handle required cash/accounts.
• Handle returns, refunds, cash drops, safe deposits, and provide change as requested.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Model customer service best practices and assist with backroom and floor merchandising as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing; ensure signage and pricing compliance.
