Job summary

Walgreens in Kittery, ME is seeking a Customer Experience and Operations associate to open and close the store in management's absence, perform system start-ups, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, process returns, manage pricing and signage, assist with deliveries, and maintain inventory accuracy while supporting displays and store policies.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store in the absence of management and handle required systems start-ups, cash handling, and preparing the floor and stock room for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers as requested.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with and coach other team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening backdoor for deliveries.
• Register all sales on assigned cash registers and maintain records of scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Support displays, resets, and inventory accuracy across departments and stock rooms.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, signage, local regulations, and regulatory programs; assist with bookkeeping steps as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper appearance, assist with maintenance requests and back-office duties.
• Provide support at pharmacy out window as requested and uphold store policies.
