Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a candidate to support store operations in New York, handling opening/closing, cash workflow, and customer service. You will help maintain prices, inventory, and displays while assisting team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and uphold Walgreens service standards to deliver a memorable shopping experience. Prior leadership or key holder experience is preferred; fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes cash drops, returns, refunds, and provides change to registers.
• Engages customers and delivers friendly, distinctive service to support a positive experience.
• Maintains store keys, pricing, displays, inventory, and housekeeping as part of daily operations.
• Supports communications between management and team members when leadership is not present.
