Job summary

Walgreens in Scottsdale seeks a proactive team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, manage daily cash activities, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will handle deliveries through backdoor access and support storefront operations.

You will greet customers, process returns and refunds, maintain inventory accuracy, assist with displays and pricing, and uphold Walgreens service standards to deliver a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Adheres to Walgreens service traits and best practices to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assists with vendor ordering processes and backdoor deliveries.
• Registers all related sales and records scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and store conditions.
• Ensures pricing accuracy and signage per local regulations.
• Assists with exterior/internal maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assists with the pharmacy out window as requested.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
