Job summary

Walgreens in Opp, AL is seeking a store team member to support opening and closing duties, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You may be responsible for opening the back door for deliveries and ensuring systems are start-ups properly.

You will engage customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a distinctive and delightful shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience in cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access and ensure store operations run smoothly.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing, including signage and displays.
• Assist with daily pricing changes and basic bookkeeping activities as needed.
