Qualifications

• 1 year of prior leadership or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain PTCB certification or pharmacy license if required.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and preparing the floor and stock room for business.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Coaches team members on customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close in management's absence and assists with vendor deliveries.
• Registers sales and notes scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; reviews order exceptions on release day; assists with reverse logistics.
• Assists in visual merchandising, displays, resets, and price updates according to policy.
• Maintains inventory accuracy across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
• Ensures compliance with pricing, signage, and local regulations; conducts basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
• Maintains clean store condition and coordinates repairs as required in manager's absence.
• Supports separation of food items and stock rotation using FIFO where applicable.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment and assists at Pharmacy out window if requested.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products and bag checks of team members.
• Performs special assignments as needed and communicates tasks to the team when management is not present.
• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
• Serves as liaison between management and team members and reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
