Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management and supports vendor deliveries by opening back doors.
• Registers sales, reviews scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; processes order exceptions and reverse logistics.
• Assists in displays, resets, and stock rotation; maintains accurate inventory and on-hand quantities.
• Ensures proper pricing and signage, handles local regulatory pricing tasks, and assists with bookkeeping activities.
• Maintains clean, neat store conditions, coordinates repairs, and supports pharmacy out window as requested.
• Complies with policies, supervises a team, and completes assigned projects.
