Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable early-shift associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure floor and stock room are ready for business. You will assist with deliveries, returns, and price changes while upholding service standards.

Engaging customers, resolving issues, and sharing service best practices with the team are key. This role requires one year of leadership or key holder experience and English fluency.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and assists with displays, pricing, and backroom organization.
