Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Sunnyvale is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead a small team, and ensure outstanding customer service. The role supports a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy in cash handling, inventory tasks, and opening/closing routines.

The position offers a flexible part-time schedule, with benefits including coffee perks and a path to growth within a globally recognized coffee brand.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities.
• Schedule availability of at least three days a week including early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with task deployment and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with engagement and high product quality.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming coffeebar and uphold safety and service standards.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks and visual updates.
• Adapt to changing priorities and keep shifts running smoothly.
