Job summary

Peet's Coffee in Half Moon Bay, CA is seeking a Shift Lead to help run daily operations with focus and clarity in a fast-paced cafe. You will manage task deployment, support opening/closing routines, cash handling, and inventory updates while delivering friendly service and a clean, welcoming coffeebar.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year in a leadership role and 1 year in POS/cash handling, with availability at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling in related industry.
• Schedule availability of at least three days a week to meet business needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies and work with/minors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity by managing task deployment and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through engagement, craft, and friendly service while maintaining a clean coffeebar.
• Support a positive team environment through clear communication and reliability.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
