Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering may substitute for prior experience.
• Two to three years’ experience in Coating and Laminating or similar manufacturing experience.
• Trained in Hazard Communications and Hazardous Material Operations Level.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift with full accountability for results in methods, quality and production.
• Analyze quality and production data to determine process capabilities and trends.
• Initiate preventive actions and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Plan and lay out work, assign and direct employees.
• Establish procedures to meet production schedules using machine and personnel capabilities.
• Maintain safety, comply with OSHA requirements, and perform GEMBA walks.
• Manage hazardous waste in compliance with regulations and company policy.
