Job summary

Madico-Window-Films seeks a shift lead to oversee a production team in our coating and laminating department. You will ensure daily targets are met, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will analyze production data, implement corrective actions, and train staff in standard procedures and safety practices. A background in manufacturing and HazCom/HazWaste training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; engineering degree may substitute for experience.
• 2–3 years of coating/laminating or similar manufacturing experience preferred.
• Trained in Hazard Communications and Hazardous Materials Operations Level.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production shift with accountability for results, methods, quality and productivity.
• Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and improvements.
• Initiate preventive actions to prevent quality problems.
• Promote a safe, positive work environment with continuous improvement.
• Plan and assign tasks, establish work procedures to meet schedules.
• Maintain time reporting and ensure training and safety procedures are followed.
• Be prepared to perform 6S and GEMBA walks; support IMS processes.
• Assist in training staff and participating in audits and process improvements.
