Job summary

Terrabis is seeking a Shift Lead to guide Budtenders in selecting cannabis products that meet patient needs. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining compliant operations within the dispensary.

You will open/close the store, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while staying compliant with regulations. Equal opportunity employer; candidates must be 21+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience; preference for cannabis retail or customer-facing experience.
• Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Willingness to learn more about cannabis, cannabinoids and therapies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory controls to ensure regulatory compliance across dispensary operations.
• Ensure POS stations are clean, stocked, and ready at store opening.
• Complete opening and closing checklists for Budtenders.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Greet all customers and provide excellent service in every interaction.
• Know products, industry trends and in-store deals; assist with promotions.
• Provide in-store training and mentorship to new Budtenders under Manager guidance.
• Ensure uniform is clean and shift readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
