Job summary

Green Dispensary in Nevada seeks a Shift Lead (Lead Budtender) to support the leadership team while directly assisting customers as a Budtender. This hybrid role manages shift transitions, leads team members, and can input discount codes per policy, promoting a compliant, high-energy sales floor.

You will guide staff, ensure safety standards, and help maintain product displays and inventory accuracy while delivering knowledge-driven customer service in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have prior customer-facing experience, preferably in cannabis retail.
• Knowledge of Nevada cannabis laws and regulations or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and retail tech.
• Ability to lead by example and support team members during shifts.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Valid Nevada marijuana establishment agent card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Open/close duties with adherence to procedures.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate goals and promotions.
• Support management by guiding staff for smooth workflow.
• Input authorized discount codes per policies.
• Monitor floor for compliance, safety, and service quality.
• Address customer concerns or escalate to management.
• Oversee breaks and ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintain positive, energetic leadership on the floor.
