Job summary

Aspire Bakeries seeks a Lead, Bakery Maintenance (3rd Shift) at our Ontario, CA bakery. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor, oversee the maintenance team, and ensure equipment readiness to meet daily production needs.

The role emphasizes food safety, GMP, HACCP, and safety standards while maintaining open communication with cross-functional teams and keeping detailed maintenance records. This is a 3rd shift position with a focus on reliability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Clear communication with team members and cross-functional partners.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance team members to ensure safe and efficient operations during assigned shift.
• Maintain facility equipment and systems in a state of operational readiness to support production goals.
• Inspect, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
• Promote compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, allergen, and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Foster communication and collaboration between maintenance and production teams to address equipment and food safety concerns.
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and required documentation.
