Job summary

Five Guys in Englewood, CO is seeking a Shift Leader to guide operations on busy shifts and set the tone for the crew. You’ll work side-by-side with your team, ensure fast, accurate service, and deliver a great guest experience.

Expect hands-on leadership, coaching for crew members, training new staff, and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced kitchen and dining room. The pay starts at $17.00/hour plus tips and bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience with leadership preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Leads by doing, not just directing, and stays cool in fast-paced settings.
• Basic math skills and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management is not on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and ensure a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and uphold brand culture.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
