Five Guys is looking for a Shift Leader to run the shift and step in when management isn’t on site, leading by example and ensuring fast, accurate service for every guest. You’ll work side-by-side with your team, coaching and motivating crew to perform at their best in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing and makes decisions quickly in fast-paced settings.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management is not on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
