Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC is seeking a Shift Leader in Rio Rancho, NM. Be a hands-on leader who sets the tone, helps on the floor, and delivers fast, friendly service to guests on every shift.

You’ll lead by example, cover multiple restaurant roles as needed, coach teammates, and uphold brand standards in a high-energy kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience, with leadership preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset are essential.
• Leads by example and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and ensure a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and foster a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
