Job summary

Five Guys in Florida is seeking a Shift Leader who will be hands-on, lead by example, and ensure every guest walks out impressed. You’ll work side-by-side with your team, manage shifts, and keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll jump into every position, train new crew, uphold brand standards, and help grow your leadership skills within a fast-paced, high-energy environment that values quality, teamwork, and consistency.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to lead by doing and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and uphold brand standards.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and on-brand.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
