Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in Golden, CO to guide operations on each shift and support team development. You’ll act as a hands-on leader, jump into every role, and ensure fast, friendly service that leaves guests impressed.

We value leaders who stay calm under pressure, coach others, and uphold safety and quality standards while maintaining a positive work culture. Starting pay is $19.00/hour plus tips and bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
