Job summary

Five Guys Savannah is seeking a Shift Leader to be a hands-on part of the team, running operations when management isn’t on site. You’ll jump into cashier, grill, prep, and dining room roles to keep service fast and accurate.

This role offers growth into Assistant and General Manager positions and a culture that values quality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. A 1–2 year hospitality background and a team-first mindset help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing, not just directing, with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Basic math skills; comfortable using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room roles.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew to perform at their best.
• Train new team members and foster a positive culture.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards; manage shift tasks.
