Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes - San Diego is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the Assistant Bakery Manager and the team to deliver the highest quality cakes and a warm, welcoming guest experience. The Shift Leader will share in leadership duties and collaborate with bakery management to drive sales while ensuring NbC standards are met.

This role offers opportunities for promotion in a growing brand and requires flexibility for shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager to drive sales and profitability.
• Execute day-to-day responsibilities and ensure NbC standards are met.
• Share in team leadership to reinforce NbC culture and guest experience.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Bakery Manager and Bakery Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards.
