Tropical Smoothie Café in Culpeper, VA is hiring for a Crew Leader/Shift Lead to energize the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will lead the team, motivate staff, and help keep the café running smoothly while upholding quality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience (shift lead, crew leader, or similar)
• Strong communication & teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Comfortable handling cash, operating registers, and managing orders
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
• Certified Food Worker Card required (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to set the tone for a fun, efficient, guest-focused shift.
• Deliver unparalleled hospitality with guests and teammates using our energetic brand of Tropitude.
• Keep operations running smoothly by opening/ closing the café and maintaining stocked, clean workstations.
• Train and coach team members; lead by example and onboard new hires.
• Ensure quality and speed of smoothies and food, meeting brand standards.
• Monitor inventory and orders to keep the café running smoothly.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in line with health regulations.
• Assist with scheduling and performance reporting with management.
• Problem-solve on the spot to resolve guest concerns and team issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Team – Set the tone for a fun, efficient, and guest-focused shift.
