Job summary

Zalat Pizza in Austin, TX is hiring a Shift Lead to supervise daily operations and guide a team through busy periods. You’ll ensure pizza quality, direct opening/closing tasks, and maintain a calm, productive shift.

Responsibilities

Zalat Pizza is hiring!We make pizza worth caring about—and we’re looking for people who feel the same. Our Shift Leads are hands‑on leaders who know how to keep the restaurant moving, the team supported, and the pizza up to standard.

What We're Looking For

• Previous service-industry experience required
• Pizza experience strongly preferred
• Reliable and consistently punctual
• Access to dependable transportation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Friendly, coachable, respectful, and team-oriented
• Detail-focused and proud of your work
• Comfortable directing others and making decisions during a shift
• Able to stay calm and neutralize team stress during busy periods
• Open availability, including some opening, closing, late-night, and weekend shifts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to stand for 6–10 hours, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

What You'll Do
