Job summary

Zalat Pizza is seeking a hands-on Shift Lead to keep the restaurant running smoothly and the team supported. You’ll be responsible for directing shifts, maintaining pizza quality, and ensuring top-notch service.

Ideal candidates have service-industry experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Must be 18+, able to stand long hours, and ready to work opening, closing, late nights, or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make pizzas and maintain quality standards.

Our Shift Leads are hands-on leaders who know how to keep the restaurant moving, the team supported, and the pizza up to standard.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous service-industry experience required
• Pizza experience strongly preferred
• Reliable and consistently punctual
• Access to dependable transportation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Friendly, coachable, respectful, and team-oriented
• Detail-focused and proud of your work
• Comfortable directing others and making decisions during a shift
• Able to stay calm and neutralize team stress during busy periods
• Open availability, including some opening, closing, late-night, and weekend shifts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to stand for 6–10 hours, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

What You'll Do:

• Make pizzas and maintain our quality standards

• Competitive base pay starting from $14/hour to $16/hour based on experience
