Job summary

Zalat Pizza in Duncanville, TX is hiring a Shift Lead to help our team deliver great pizza and guest experiences. This hands-on leader keeps the restaurant moving, supports the team, and maintains high quality during busy shifts.

The ideal candidate brings service-industry experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and open availability including early, late, and weekend shifts. You will guide the team, resolve issues, and model excellent prep and service.

Qualifications

• Previous service-industry experience required.
• Pizza experience strongly preferred.
• Reliable and consistently punctual.
• Open availability, including some opening, closing, late-night, and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to stand for 6–10 hours, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make pizzas and maintain our quality standards.
• Open and close the restaurant.
• Direct the team during shifts and rushes.
• Keep the team productive during slower periods.
• Handle customer concerns and operational issues.
• Lead by example in prep, stocking, cleaning, and service.

Our Shift Leads are hands‑on leaders who know how to keep the restaurant moving, the team supported, and the pizza up to standard.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous service‑industry experience required
• Pizza experience strongly preferred
