Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician to monitor equipment health using vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, and lubrication technologies. You will analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and support reliability and uptime improvements across the facility.

You will work with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to implement proactive strategies, maintain logs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance.
• Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
• Level 1 certification in vibration analysis, infrared thermography and ultrasonic testing preferred.
• Experience with Maximo CMMS is a plus.
• Root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Establish PdM routes and analyze data to prevent failures and plan maintenance actions.
• Analyze machine failures for root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Execute proactive maintenance strategies with PdM tools (Ultrasonic, Infrared, Vibration).
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and support reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Develop opportunities to apply predictive tools and train others.
