Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician to monitor equipment health using vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, and lubrication technologies to identify issues before failures occur.

You will analyze data, perform root cause analyses, and support reliability improvements across the facility. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and reliability professionals to improve asset performance and plant productivity, and you will implement proactive maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance experience.
• Associates degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Level 1 certification in Vibration Analysis, IR Thermography or Ultrasonic Testing preferred.
• Experience with Maximo CMMS is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; team-oriented.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Establish PdM routes, collect and analyze data, and report variances to baseline to prevent failures.
• Analyze machine failures for root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Use PdM tools (Ultrasonic, Infrared, Vibration) for proactive maintenance planning.
• Execute proactive maintenance strategies incl. maintenance routes and preventive tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs with labor hours and findings.
• Collaborate with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Train others in predictive tools and concepts after training.
• Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, and setup issues.
• Work around moving equipment and in controlled environments as required.
