Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in psychology or human services.
• Two years of experience in health or human services.
• Two years of experience working with unhoused individuals and those with behavioral health or substance use disorders preferred.
• Professional writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with Windows, Word, and Google Apps.
• Individuals with lived expertise encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site oversight of the shelter and Shelter Support Workers.
• Assist with safety checks and supervise daily routines and safety procedures.
• Maintain safety of guests and facility through monitoring and redirection as needed.
• Complete intake documentation and HMIS records as required.
• Follow safety plans and report safety concerns to leadership.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation; contact 911 when needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and supervision; support guests with issues.
