Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time social casework experience, at least one year in supervision.
• Strong writing and communication skills; proficient with CARES.
• Ability to supervise social services staff and coordinate with shelter providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and technical assistance to the social services staff.
• Function as the liaison with shelter staff and community-based providers to facilitate client placement into alternative housing.
• Refer staff to the DHS Training Bureau for ongoing training.
• Develop and monitor staffing schedules; prepare and review monthly program activity reports.
• Coordinate and participate in case conferences and internal/external meetings.
• Make recommendations for innovative strategies to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with DHS contracted sites and agencies involved with homelessness services.
• Monitor non-compliant clients and apply Client Responsibility procedures when needed.
• Submit Client Responsibility cases for review and sanction when applicable.
