Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Monitor II to provide security for the program premises and safety for clients, visitors, and staff. The role includes mentoring junior monitors and overseeing safety, with driving duties preferred for licensed personnel.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• At least 1 year in security, social/human services or customer service.
• Valid California driver’s license (preferred) with clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Train Monitors in operations and safety procedures.
• Provide ongoing safety leadership and oversee shelter safety.
• Monitor shelter entrance and screen bags and persons.
• Patrol premises and report safety concerns.
• Complete written reports and incident logs daily.
