Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Service operates Drexel House, an 86-unit housing program with a 16-bed emergency shelter in Thurston County. The Resident Coordinator will monitor on-site operations and coordinate with the Housing Manager to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

The role includes front-desk duties, safety checks, daily chores, and supporting residents with services and information, while working with case managers and volunteers to maintain a supportive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in social services is desirable; homelessness experience helpful.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Willingness to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Staff the front desk and monitor security of both buildings.
• Enforce program policies with residents and visitors.
• Perform safety checks of entrances and grounds.
• Maintain shelter upkeep and laundering of linens.
• Log resident activity and manage nightly bed lists.
• Coordinate transportation for residents as needed.
• Provide resident services and information.
• Back up staffing as needed.
• Uphold mission of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Service.
