Job summary

Victory Programs Incorporated in Dorchester, MA seeks a part-time Resident Assistant to support residents and staff in daily operations. You will help maintain safety, assist with intake screenings, coordinate activities, and document observations during shifts.

The role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed interaction, strong communication, and teamwork. Weekend shifts require staying awake and following program rules to ensure a welcoming, secure environment for families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• TB screening (may be obtained upon hire).
• Three work-related professional references (2 from manager or supervisor).

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries at all times.
• Ensure residence is safe, clean, and free from hazards.
• Coordinate arrival of families and explain house rules and resources.
• Perform initial screenings and intake with Case Managers as needed.
• Promote a healthy, inclusive residential environment and assist with activities.
